Your Guide to Being a Patient at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway

When it comes to patient care, the staff of medical professionals across all of our New Jersey facilities strives to maintain an environment for patients and their families that will make recovery even easier. To do this, our hospitals and health centers try to keep every patient’s needs in mind.

At Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway, this is no different. We want you be ready for your visit with us. To do that, here are a few need-to-knows that will hopefully make your time with us more pleasant:

Parking

Visitor parking is $2. We also have discounted weekly parking for $10. See the cashier in the lobby to purchase a card.

Gift Shop

Gift shop services are available adjacent to the main lobby. Toiletries, magazines, candy, fresh flowers, and an array of gift items are available. The RWJ Rahway Auxiliary runs Marydel’s Rose Tree Gift Shop. Hours are: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Daytime: 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Evening 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesdays: 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Saturday/Sunday: 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Flowers are delivered directly to patients. Attractive arrangements are on sale in the gift shop.

Library

The Consumer Library provides patients and their family members with accurate and up-to-date medical and health information to better understand a diagnosis, and to provide information about the latest treatment methods. Please call the Consumer Library at RWJ Rahway at 732-499-6134.
