Trinitas Regional Medical Center (TRMC), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, is a major center for comprehensive health services for those who live and work in Central New Jersey. Trinitas is a Catholic teaching medical center with Catholic oversight by the sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth. In 2022, Trinitas joined RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s largest academic health system, to allow significant investment in facilities, technology and innovation to enhance clinical services.
With 12 Centers of Excellence across the continuum of care, Trinitas has distinguished itself in cardiology, cancer care, behavioral health, dialectical behavior therapy, renal care, nursing education, diabetes management, wound healing, breast health, seniors’ health care, women’s health care and sleep medicine.
Trinitas Comprehensive Cancer Center, together with Rutgers Cancer Institute, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, is at the forefront of cancer research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of routine, rare and complex cancers. Our multidisciplinary team of nationally recognized oncologists, nurses and oncology support professionals provide the most advanced treatment options to ensure a compassionate, comprehensive and personalized approach to diagnosing and treating cancer.
The Connie Dwyer Breast Center offers the latest in comprehensive breast health services including mammograms, 3D mammograms, breast MRI, genetic testing, fellowship-trained breast surgeons and more. Our multidisciplinary team provides access to the most advanced screening and treatment options for breast cancer including complex surgical procedures, radiation therapy techniques, clinical trials, immunotherapy and precision medicine.
Trinitas Behavioral Health campus at New Point, part of RWJBarnabas Health Behavioral Health services, together with Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC), is a leading provider of integrated mental health and substance abuse treatment services to children, adolescents, adults and seniors, serving almost 200,000 outpatient behavioral health visits annually. In 2023, the Healthcare Foundation of NJ Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities unit opened to serve adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), as well as co-occurring mental disorders. Trinitas is the only hospital in the state of NJ to offer this specialized unit for individuals living with I/DD and mental illness.
