Women’s Health Services
at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital
Comprehensive care for women’s health extends far beyond maternal services and breast care. At Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, we are committed to moving the field of women’s health forward through innovative treatments and research that address women’s unique medical and wellness needs. Our specialties encompass health concerns from adolescence to the childbearing years through Family Planning, the challenges of menopause, and everything in between. We also provide safe and sensitive care for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their unique gynecologic needs at our nationally-recognized Proud Gender Center of New Jersey.
As an academic medical center in partnership with Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, our board-certified faculty are leaders in their field and also educate and train the next generation of clinicians. Our patients have access to the latest research, most advanced treatments, complex minimally invasive surgical procedures, and comprehensive health screenings.
Our complete approach to women’s health acknowledges the way women’s hearts, bones, minds, and so much more can show different symptoms and respond differently than men. We offer specialized health services in cardiology, endocrinology, osteoporosis and bariatrics to address this gap in health care. Our first-class Executive Health Program offers preventative and personalized care for corporate executives to manage their health with their busy, fast-paced lifestyles. Our goal is to provide women with individualized personalized care that delivers a higher quality of life and longevity.
So whether you are managing a high-risk pregnancy or seeking help for conditions affecting your quality of life such as fibroids, endometriosis, or pelvic floor disorders, RWJUH specialists can help during all of your life stages.
