Gastroenterology Services at RWJUH
The Center for Digestive Diseases at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) brings together gastroenterologists, surgeons, and experienced nurses who perform diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with disorders of the digestive tract, pancreas, bile ducts, and liver.
Physicians at the Center perform the entire range of endoscopic procedures including endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography), complex endoscopic resection of early gastrointestinal neoplasia, and palliative procedures for gastrointestinal cancers.

- Barrett's Esophagus Screening with nonendoscopic swallowing devices
- Prevention of esophageal cancer and Barrett's esophagus
- Endoscopic gastric bypass for gastric obstruction
- Long term outcomes of endoscopic therapies for gastroparesis
