Magnet Recognition from the American Nursing Credentialing Center ANCC

The nurses at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) care for our patients with exceptional skill and compassion. Their outstanding service, focus on safety and personalized attention to patients and their families have earned RWJUH Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center six consecutive times. We don't just care for our patients, we care about them.

In addition to Magnet recognition, two awards are given to exceptional nurses who demonstrate the highest level of professional nursing care:

  • The DAISY Awards
    An award given periodically by an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day.
  • Nurse Excellence Awards
    An annual award given by the hospital that reflects the nurses' commitment to upholding standards for the Magnet Recognition Program.
