Pediatric Residency Programs
- Pediatrics Residency at Monmouth Medical Center. Our goal is to train residents to become excellent pediatricians; we base the program on the recommended competencies: patient care, medical knowledge, interpersonal and communication skills, practice-based learning and improvement, professionalism and systems-based practice.
- Pediatric Residency Program at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. The Pediatric Residency program at Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center provides a well-balanced educational experience and a solid foundation in general pediatrics and clinical experiences in every pediatric subspecialty.
Pediatric Fellowship Program
The Pediatric Emergency Fellowship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center aims to enable physicians to develop the clinical, administrative, teaching and research skills necessary to manage medical, surgical and psychosocial emergencies.
Education and Research

- Research. Through collaborations between hospitals and medical schools, we gain an integrated team of physicians and scientists focused on translational research to work toward improving pediatric health.
The Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) Collaborative of the Children’s Health Network of RWJBarnabas Health, representing pediatric providers, including pediatric infectious disease specialists and pharmacists, exchange ideas, discuss case management strategies, and develop and implement guidelines to be shared system-wide, as well as serve as a resource for community physicians.
