Understand the role of sleep in the memory consolidation process, symptoms of sleep deficiency, the effects of sleep deprivation, various conditions (i.e. sleep apnea, insomnia, etc.) that impact brain processes, recommended sleep duration for optimal cognitive function and strategies for getting a good night’s rest, including innovative treatments (i.e. CPAP, etc).
Includes a light breakfast and screening.
Attendees participate in memory-strengthening activities.
