10:00 am: A Caregiver's Guide to Finance. Presentation by the Alzheimer's Association.
- Dementia caregiving can have a tremendous impact on finances. This program will provide general information on legal, financial, and medical issues. Designed for caregivers of a loved one living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Attendees will go through a number of activities that help in creating a financial plan.
11:00 am: Self-Care for our Everyday Lives. Presentation by Comprehensive Services on Aging (COPSA)
- Many people are leading busy lives; juggling family, caregiving and work. We all need balance! When you are a caregiver for a loved-one, paying attention to your self-care needs can help lower stress and bring focus to your emotional and physical well-being. Learning a few simple practices can help you develop a self-care plan for your overall wellness. Participants will receive beautiful self-care guide and tools to help maintain balance.
