Cardiology Pavilion
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women~ with about 600,000 or 1 in every 4 deaths a year ~ in the United States. Every year about 735,000 Americans will have a heart attack.
RWJUH Somerset is expanding and transforming the second floor Cardiology Pavilion by centralizing all cardiac services to one floor to allow seamless flow for all of our patients. We began renovating the inpatient cardiology units last year. When completed, there will be two state-of-the-art 30 bed units including 12 private rooms in each unit.
