Non-Emergency Transport

In addition to providing 9-1-1 response, Jersey City Medical Center EMS provides non-emergent transport services for patients requiring medical monitoring. Our units serve hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, out-patient clinics, and occasionally provide transport home for non-ambulatory patients. All of our units are fully equipped and licensed by the State of New Jersey for both emergent and non-emergent patient transportation and staffed with 2 certified Emergency Medical Technicians. All of our staff are interchangeable between the 9-1-1 and non-emergent divisions and are required to maintain the certifications/training listed on the Basic Life Support page.
