The Radiation Oncology Practice at Jersey City Medical Center delivers radiation therapy in the treatment of cancer, eliminating cancerous cells or tumors without damaging the surrounding tissue. Each patient is cared for by a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, certified radiation therapists, physicists and dosimetrists. Working together, the practice customizes each patient’s treatment plan and assures patient safety and comfort.
In partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, Jersey City Medical Center and RWJBarnabas Health provide patients with access to the most advanced radiation therapy options available across the State, as well as novel therapeutics and clinical trials.
