Advanced Care for Melanoma, Sarcoma, and Skin Cancers

New Jersey’s leading resource for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States with more people diagnosed than all other cancers combined. According to the latest statistics from NJ Health, approximately 1700 men and 840 women in New Jersey are diagnosed with melanoma each year, and melanoma is the seventh-most common cancer in the state.

The skin cancer specialists at RWJBarnabas Health have extensive experience diagnosing and treating both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. Our cancer facilities offer comprehensive skin cancer treatments and guide our patients through a continuum of care that includes reconstruction.

Our specialists provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care to patients with melanoma, sarcoma, and other skin cancers. This involves a dedicated team of specialists including surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, nurses and social workers. Through our partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the state’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, patients have access to complex surgical techniques, clinical trials, precision medicine, immunotherapy, and innovative radiation therapy procedures.

At RWJBarnabas Health, you receive the latest skin cancer treatments and world-class physicians close to home.
