Louis Rizio, MD, a fellowship-trained sports medicine specialist and orthopedic surgeon, served as the keynote speaker at RWJBarnabas Health’s Sports Medicine Grand Rounds program, BEAR Implant for ACL Restoration and Recovery: A Cutting Edge Look into ACL Repair. As one of the first surgeons in NJ to perform this procedure, he provided insight into this cutting-edge ACL repair technique. Dr. Rizio is affiliated with Cooperman Barnabas Center and RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group and practices out of the Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine Institute, located at the Barnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston, NJ. He has been providing care for adult and pediatric patients throughout his career including professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational athletes.
