Multiple Sclerosis Care

Advanced Treatment Options

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disorder of our central nervous system that can produce dramatically different effects patient-to-patient. Some sufferers only experience mild, subtle effects while others experience a dramatic change in their mobility, functioning, and quality of life. There is no cure for MS yet, but we provide the only Multiple Sclerosis Comprehensive Care Program in the region that provides an expansive spectrum of medical services and support resources for patients and their loved ones.

Our MS Care Program

Our MS Care Program was established to provide everything our MS patients need under one roof. Overseen by a board-certified neurologist/multiple sclerosis specialist, the MS Care Program is ready to administer cutting-edge diagnostics, effective treatment, and the vigilant follow-up care to ensure the well-being of these patients.

Services our MS Care Program provides include:

  • Rehabilitation therapies and services (cognitive, speech, orthotics, etc.)
  • Health and wellness (exercise programs with physiologists, yoga)
  • Supervised exercise program
  • Integrative therapies (acupuncture, hypnotherapy, nutritional counseling, etc.)
  • Interventional/Pharmacological pain management (nerve block, steroid injections, etc.)
  • Infusion/Injection Therapies (chemotherapy, immunomodulators, etc.)
  • Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease center
  • Modern, innovative imaging/neuroimaging services
  • Cooperman Barnabas MS Wellness Program (one-year membership to our exercise facility)

Our MS Care Program provides a number of other critical services for MS patients and their loved ones, including counseling and education resources. We will also provide logistical support for those with issues commuting and can even help schedule your visits so that your appointments coincide for better convenience and comfort (and fewer trips to the hospital).

Combating the effects of MS requires a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach to a patient's health.
