The Northern Department of Cardiac Surgery at RWJBarnabas Health, which includes Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Jersey City Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, is home to New Jersey’s top cardiac surgeons who are skilled in all aspects of heart care.
Our surgical team performs the full spectrum of operative procedures in patients with cardiac and vascular diseases, including coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacement, aortic aneurysm repair, ventricular assist device implantation and heart transplant.
