Center for Asian Health
The Center for Asian Health (CAH) at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, located at 222 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park, NJ, is a comprehensive program that includes a primary care practice, a patient navigation program and a network of services and specialists focusing on our area’s ethnically diverse population. The center boasts bilingual physicians and staff who can provide primary care services in Chinese and Korean, as well as culturally sensitive support and navigation for follow up services and care. CAH also hosts multiple outreach and education events, collaborating with local partners, thus building a strong connection to the community.
Among the clinical services offered, CAH provides general medical care in diabetes, cancer screening, and viral hepatitis, with hepatology services for those patients with advanced liver disease.
Services include:
- Bilingual (Chinese and Korean) internal medicine physicians and specialists, under the medical direction of Su Wang, MD, MPH
- General prevention and wellness, including physical exams
- Care for a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and gastrointestinal disorders
- Hepatitis B and C screening, treatment, and management
- A dedicated Liver Center
- Chinese Medical Navigation Program
- Community Outreach and Education
