Registered nurse and patient navigator Kimberly Cromwell-Piniella, CBCN, BSN, RN has experience in providing support and guidance to breast cancer patients and their families.

The patient navigator can:

  • Guide you through diagnosis, treatment and recovery, utilizing our multidisciplinary team to develop an individualized plan of care
  • Coordinate referrals from physicians and health care facilities
  • Provide you with education related to your illness and planned treatment
  • Meet with you preoperatively and postoperatively to assess and reinforce education in preparation for discharge
  • Remain available to you when worries and fears become overwhelming
  • Connect you with resources such as counseling, social work, rehabilitation support groups and specialty items
