Longitudinal Rotations
Longitudinal learning experiences involve practice settings and activities to which the resident is exposed throughout all or most of the year. The resident does not participate in the Ambulatory Care experience until licensure and completion of either Internal Medicine or Critical Care. The resident is responsible for Pharmacokinetic and Code Call coverage throughout the residency year. Initially the resident works closely with their preceptors with the goal of becoming independent towards the end of the residency program.
