Maternal-Fetal Medicine Program (High-Risk Pregnancy)
Pregnancies can become high risk for varying factors, some more severe than others. The Maternal-Fetal Medicine program, a part of our Regional Perinatal Center at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) specializes in advanced care to assist mothers and their babies through high-risk pregnancies. Our maternal-fetal specialists are trained in complications that affect both the mother and fetus and will work with your obstetrician to develop a plan based on your personal needs and medical history. If necessary, after delivery, babies can receive the high-quality care and monitoring they need at our level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit located at The Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at RWJUH, keeping mom and baby together at one location.
