Dori Saler, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Dori Saler, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a certified speech-language pathologist through
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed
in the state of New Jersey. She earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language
Pathology from Northeastern University. Dori began her career in 2010
at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, gaining experience in both
acute care and outpatient settings. Her clinical interests focus on dysphagia
and feeding challenges across the pediatric population, including infants,
toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. She is trained in a
variety of evidence-based feeding approaches, including the Sequential
Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, TalkTools, the AEIOU Systematic
Approach to Feeding, and the Transdisciplinary Effective Assessment and
Treatment (TR-eat) model. Since 2012, Dori has been part of the team at
the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Neuromuscular and ALS Center, where she
conducts Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations
for people with ALS (pALS). She values the interdisciplinary nature of
this work and is passionate about helping individuals find alternative
methods of communication that support autonomy and connection.
She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Monmouth University, where she taught Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing.
