Dori Saler, M.S. CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Dori Saler, M.S. CCC-SLP, is an American Speech-Language-Hearing Association-certified speech-language pathologist, licensed in the states of New Jersey. She has experience working in a variety of settings including acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing, and private practice.
Saler began her career at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in 2010. She is competent in performing both the modified barium swallow study (MBSS) and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES). Her areas of interest include dysphagia and feeding with infants, toddlers, preschool and school-aged children. She is trained in the following methods and techniques: The sequential oral sensory motor approach to feeding (SOS), talk tools, AEIOU approach to feeding, and the transdisciplinary effective assessment and treatment (TR-eat) model.
Additional areas of interest include amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and neuromuscular disorders, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Dori enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration and participates in a monthly Aerodigestive Clinic and serves as the speech pathologist for the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Neuromuscular and ALS Center.
