Mary Sisson, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Mary Sisson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in both Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and Psychological Sciences from the University of Connecticut in 2020. She received her Doctorate of Audiology with specialized training in counseling and special education from the University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ) in 2024.
Dr. Sisson completed clinical rotations in a variety of settings from school-based educational audiology placements to hospital settings focused heavily on diagnostic evaluations. She completed her fourth-year externship at the University of Missouri, ENT, Hearing and Balance Center where she had the opportunity to work with patients of all ages in all areas of audiology, gaining a passion for cochlear implants and pediatrics. Dr. Sisson joined the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital team following the completion of her Doctorate of Audiology in 2024 to get back to the East Coast and remain in a dynamic hospital environment where she could continue to serve diverse patient populations in all diagnostic and rehabilitative areas.
Dr. Sisson currently holds a license to practice audiology in the State of New Jersey and maintains her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She provides pediatric and adult comprehensive audiologic evaluations, traditional and osseo-integrated (bone conduction) hearing aid evaluations and fittings, cochlear implant evaluations and services, natural sleep and sedated auditory brainstem response testing, comprehensive vestibular evaluations, and central auditory processing evaluations. Dr. Sisson also routinely mentors current doctoral students as they complete clinical placements and externship requirements.
