At Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, our highly specialized team of cardiac physicians and surgeons collaborate to provide care to patients experiencing cardiogenic shock. Cardiogenic shock is a condition in which a person’s heart suddenly cannot pump enough blood to meet their body's needs. Our team is comprised of clinical and surgical experts from cardiothoracic surgery, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure treatment and critical care cardiology. The team is available 24/7 to deliver cardiac critical care for patients in cardiogenic shock.
