The RWJ University Hospital Foundation has a four-fold object:
- To develop programs that provide a continuous flow of financial support to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital from the full spectrum of charitable sources.
- To demonstrate to prospective contributors that responsible and enlightened philanthropy is of mutual benefit to the donor, to those individuals served by the Hospital, and to the Hospital itself.
- To foster and support the work of the Hospital in providing people in New Jersey with the best in health care delivery services.
- To increase public awareness about Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by providing an additional forum for community participation in Hospital activities.
