The urogynecologist is a gynecologist with specialty training in urology who combines the expertise of treating the women's reproductive system and the urinary tract system, focusing specifically on urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunctions. The urogynecologist completes a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive pelvic surgery.
