The RWJ Hamilton colorectal surgical team conducts procedures related to the diagnosis and treatment of problems of the colon, rectum, anus and small bowel.
Colon and rectal surgeons treat benign and malignant conditions, perform routine screenings and examinations, and surgically treat problems when necessary. Colon and rectal surgeons are trained in general surgery and have completed advanced training in the treatment of colon and rectal conditions.
