Dr. Katherine Lynne Cannon Cancer Fund
The Dr. Katherine Lynne Cannon Cancer Fund was created in July 2017 by Dr. Katherine Lynne Cannon to provide support for families dealing with acute stage cancer. Inspired by her own experiences battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, to which, after a brave and unwavering 11 month battle, she succumbed in November 2017, Dr. Cannon endeavored to create a fund that will give families at RWJ Hamilton the kinds of special and comforting touches that meant so much to her and her family during her “big fight.”
Today, Dr. Cannon’s family and friends celebrate her memory by helping the fund grow.
Proceeds from the Dr. Katherine Lynne Cannon Cancer Fund will be used to assist cancer patients and their families with personal items such as wigs and other aid as deemed appropriate.
