Judy KolpackJudy Kolpack

I have lived all of my life in Hamilton, NJ, graduating from Steinert High School and Trenton State College, with a degree in elementary education. I taught in Hamilton Township schools for 25 years. The last 19 years were teaching ESL (English as a Second Language). I just loved all of my foreign students. After retiring, I was a ROBIN (Retired Older Buddy Is Needed) in the school system. I volunteered in the classrooms of 3 first grade teachers doing many different jobs. I put up bulletin boards, ran copies of worksheets, listened to children read, helped with special projects and tied many shoes until they learned. Currently I volunteer at RWJ Health and Wellness Center on Quakerbridge Road in the OT (Occupational Therapy) department. Having been a patient there myself, I know how much a kind word means. So I try to be cheerful and positive. I have been a volunteer at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital/Hamilton for almost three years, this has been a healing and blessing for me to serve others.
