Dawn Hutchinson, MSN, RN, PCCN-K, NEA-BC
Chief Nursing Officer

Dawn Hutchinson, MSN, RN, PCCN-K, NEA-BC, is the Chief Nursing Officer at RWJUH Hamilton. Dawn previously served as Assistant Vice President of Nursing at RWJUH Hamilton, providing both direction and vision for nursing excellence for more than 200 clinical team members and more than 100 patient beds.

Dawn has been a part of the nursing team at RWJUH Hamilton since 2006, and has served as a staff nurse, clinical coordinator, manager and director.

Dawn began her professional nursing career in 1988 at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. For 35 years, she has provided leadership to med-surg, telemetry and endoscopy nursing teams. Dawn received a master’s degree in Nursing Leadership from Excelsior College and holds two national certifications for Progressive Nursing Care and Nurse Executive Advanced. Dawn is passionate about inspiring and influencing others to work together to achieve their highest goals.

She is a proud mother of three children and a grandmother, and enjoys spending free time with her family.

Roseann Baker, MSN, RN

Manager, Emergency Services and Intensive Care Unit

Roseann Baker is the Manager of Emergency Services and the Intensive Care Unit. Roseann graduated from Grand Canyon University with an MSN with an emphasis on Leadership in Health Care Systems. Roseann has been with RWJUH Hamilton for 33 years. She began her career here as an ED registrar on the nightshift. From the beginning, she was amazed by the emergency department nurses. Their commitment to their work and their ability to literally save lives sparked a calling in Roseann and she began her nursing career as a secretary-tech in the ED. She enrolled in college and obtained her nursing license in September of 2001. Roseann never left the emergency department. She worked twenty-five years on the nightshift and became a charge nurse, then clinical coordinator. Roseann assumed her current role in 2021. She is currently enjoying the new challenges and successes in both units.

Christina Delate, MSN, RN, CNOR

Nurse Manager, Operating Room

Christina Delate has been a registered nurse for 30 years; 27 of these years have been spent in the operating room. Christina has been a member of the RWJUH Hamilton team since 2000. Christina has extensive operating room experience; she is proficient in scrubbing as well as circulating. Christina has served in various roles in the OR, including front line staff member, orthopedic team lead, charge nurse, and clinical coordinator and is currently the Operating Room Nurse Manager. Christina is actively pursuing her master’s degree at Holy Family University. Christina is an active member of the Association of Perioperative Nurses (AORN) and is a nationally recognized Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR). Christina prides herself on maintaining an excellent rapport with the surgeons and staff. “My main goals for the OR are to ensure our patients receive safe, quality care and to improve staff satisfaction.”

Amy Pellicane (German), MSN, RN, OCN

Administrative Director of the Oncology Services

Amy Pellicane is a registered nurse and is the Director of the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton. She received her associate’s degree in 1998 and later received her BSN through Immaculata University in 2007. Amy has been a Robert Wood Johnson employee since March 1996. She started her career here in registration and then transferred to the in-patient oncology floor as the unit secretary, where she later worked as an RN. Her entire 26 years in nursing have been in oncology, and she is an oncology-certified nurse. Amy transferred to the Cancer Center in December 2001; she started there as an infusion RN and moved to clinical coordinator, manager, director, then administrative director in February 2022. Amy is responsible for the daily operations of the medical oncology practice, infusion center and women’s center. Amy obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Capella University.

Erin Glospie, MSN Ed., RN, PCCN

Director of Infection Prevention

Erin Glospie is a registered nurse and is the Director of Infection Prevention at RWJUH Hamilton. She received her associate’s degree in 2001 and later received her BSN through Drexel University in 2005. She received her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Monmouth University in 2011. She is nationally certified in progressive care. Erin has been a RWJBarnabas Health employee since March 2003. She started her career as a telemetry nurse and later advanced into the role of staff development as a telemetry unit-based educator. Erin has also served as PRN nursing supervisor. Over the years, she has taught at several local colleges and worked PRN for a wound care center. Erin assumed the role of the Director of Infection Prevention in October 2021. She is currently enrolled in Monmouth University's Doctorate of Nursing Practice Program and is working towards her certification in Infection Control.

Tammy E. Leigh, MSN, RN

Director of Emergency Services and Intensive Care Unit

Tammy E. Leigh is the Director of Emergency Services and the Intensive Care Unit. Tammy graduated with her MSN from the University of Phoenix. To date, Tammy’s tenure has spanned 36 years. Early on, she began her professional career as a staff nurse, quickly moving to the emergency department as an ER nurse. As she progressed, Tammy has held several leadership roles. She managed the Family Health Clinic for 15 years. In addition, she served as coordinator for the Congestive Heart Failure program. Throughout her career, Tammy has always held a special passion for the emergency department. She enjoys the pace of an atmosphere filled with activity and daily challenges. Currently, she oversees the 30-bed emergency department and a 20-bed intensive care unit. Tammy is involved in the system ED Collaborative and recently received her Green Belt for her Lean Project work. Tammy enjoys spending her down time with her husband, two daughters and her two young grandchildren.

Connie J Moceri, MSN, RN, AGNP-C

Director of Disease Management and Stroke Coordinator

Connie Moceri is the Director of Disease Management and Stroke Coordinator at RWJUH Hamilton. In 1985, Connie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of NJ and received her Master of Science in Nursing from The College of New Jersey in 2017. Connie is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been a member of the RWJUH Hamilton team since 1986, with 34 years of acute care experience in multiple clinical areas, including critical care, cardiology, oncology, pain management, palliative care and neurology. Her role in these areas has included providing direct patient care, planning of continuing nursing education, patient education, peer review for both nurses and other providers, as well as leadership in critical care, telemetry, and, most recently, disease management.

Her responsibilities include collaboration/management of stroke and TIA patients, as well as providing care/management of those patients with congestive heart failure for the hospital’s Healthy Lives Program. She also has oversight of the Bariatric Center of Excellence and Orthopedic Center of Excellence.

She is a member of the American Heart/American Stroke Association and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and serves as a board member of the NJ Stroke Coordinators Consortium and on the Medical Advisory Panel of the RWJ Fitness & Wellness Center in Hamilton.

Lisa Nevius, MSN, RN, OCN

Nurse Manager for the Medical-Surgical Units

Lisa Nevius is the nurse manager for the medical-surgical units at RWJUH Hamilton. Lisa began her career at this facility twenty-nine years ago as a patient care technician. After graduating from Mercer County Community College with an associate’s degree in applied science and achieving her Registered Nurse License, she was employed as a staff nurse on the Medical Oncology unit. In 2002, Lisa received her national certification in oncology (OCN) and began working towards her bachelor’s degree. Lisa graduated from the University of Delaware in 2009. She has worked in various roles throughout her career, including patient care technician, staff nurse, clinical coordinator and now nurse manager for the medical-surgical units. Lisa has been able to gain the knowledge and skills to drive and complete her master’s degree in Nursing with a leadership focus through Excelsior College in July 2021. She also achieved her Advanced Nurse Executive certification in November 2023. Lisa is the mother of two children. According to Lisa, “It is a pleasure to continue to learn, work and develop within this exceptional organization as it grows.”

Ceara Phillips, BSN, RN

Nurse Manager Telemetry Units

Ceara Phillips grew up in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, where she longed to become a nurse as a child after an experience with her mother. Ceara attended vocational-tech schooling while still in high school in the health occupations program. Ceara received her certified nurse assistant license while a junior. Ceara relocated to New Jersey and attended Mercer County Community College’s nursing program. Ceara attended college full-time while working part-time at RWJUH Hamilton as a unit secretary and patient care tech. Ceara had the pleasure of gaining nursing experience while in the nurse extern program at RWJUH Hamilton. Ceara also had the experience to do an internship at RWJUH Hamilton once she became a registered nurse, which helped jump-start her career. Ceara was offered a full-time position as a staff nurse on Tele Central after completing the internship. She was a member of the Wound Care Committee and was a Wound Care Champion. Ceara was promoted to the clinical coordinator for the 3-11 shift and then the 7-3 shift on Tele Central. She developed a strong love for nursing leadership and wanted to grow even more. Ceara stepped in as the acting manager on Telemetry and then soon became the manager for both telemetry units. Ceara received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and is continuing her education in a graduate program for her master’s degree in Nursing. Ceara is a beloved wife and the mother of two beautiful princesses. Ceara takes great pride in working at RWJUH Hamilton and loves the team and family atmosphere.

Jennifer Pirozzi, MSN, RN, CNOR, NE-BC

Director of Perioperative Services

Jennifer Pirozzi began her health career as a ward clerk at Doctors Hospital in Staten Island while attending nursing school. She received her associate’s degree from The College of Staten Island. After graduating in 1994, she worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital in a variety of departments. It was there that she fell in love with the operating room. She went back to school and obtained her BSN from Hunter College and became a Certified Nurse Operating Room in 2000.

After moving to New Jersey, she took a position at RWJUH New Brunswick as a staff nurse in the operating room. During the last 8 years of her career at the New Brunswick campus, she served as the operating room educator.

Jennifer continued her education and graduated from Grand Canyon University with her MSN /emphasis on Leadership in 2020. Jennifer has been with RWJBarnabas Health for 21 years. She joined RWJUH Hamilton in 2022 as the Perioperative Director. Her departments include pre-admission testing, same day surgery, operating room, endoscopy, the post anesthesia care unit and central sterile supply. Just recently, she obtained her Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC) from the ANA. She is currently enjoying the new challenges and successes of her role as a director.

Cheryl Prall, MSN, RN, NEA-BC

Director, Center for Professional Development, Innovation, and Research

Cheryl Prall has been a registered nurse for 34 years and is currently the Director of Professional Development, Innovation and Research. Cheryl started her career as an orthopedic registered nurse at a community hospital. She attended Emory University for the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse program in 1994. Cheryl was the director of staff development at a long-term care facility for 2 years before returning to acute care. She has been in the Education Department at RWJUH Hamilton for 21 years. Cheryl loves that her role in education allows her to teach, which is her passion, but also allows her to go to the bedside, which is the core of nursing. Cheryl graduated with her master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2004 and achieved her NEA-BC in 2017.
