RWJUH Hamilton at a Glance

Incorporated in Trenton, New Jersey in 1941, relocated to Hamilton Township, New Jersey, and changed its name in 1971, RWJUH Hamilton today sits on a 67‐acre campus adjacent to Veterans Park, centrally located within the township. RWJUH Hamilton provides a network of comprehensive health care services including hospital care, prevention and wellness, primary care and specialty practices, and outpatient diagnostic and treatment services to the community.

RWJ University Hospital – Hamilton

The hospital is the largest employer in Hamilton Township, and provides nursing and allied health training to 13 surrounding colleges and universities.

RWJUH Hamilton includes outpatient centers in Columbus, Ewing, Hamilton, and Lawrenceville and the Robert Wood Johnson Fitness & Wellness Center.

CINJ Front Building

The Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton integrates medical, radiation and surgical oncology, with support services such as rehabilitation, genetics, social work, nutrition and lab. RWJUH Hamilton is an affiliate of Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Brunswick, the only National Cancer Institute‐designated comprehensive cancer center in New Jersey. The Institute provides access to specialists, clinical trials and new scientific advances for the treatment of all types of malignancies and blood disorders.

Surgeons focus on minimally‐invasive surgery and the robotic‐assisted surgery program includes general, bariatric, colorectal, gynecologic, orthopedic and urologic surgery. The Center for Orthopedic & Spine Health is the only orthopedic program in the capital region that is nationally‐certified in knee, hip and spine surgery.
