I am a “tough” kind of therapist. My general approach is “you can do it unless proven otherwise.” With this in mind, I like to challenge patients with goals and tasks. I will always listen to the patient, find out their goals and what motivates them, set priorities, tailor treatment to their individual needs. And, always try to involve family members and other caregivers.
