Robert Lawrence Friedman, MA
Robert is an internationally recognized speaker, trainer and published author who has provided his workshops, training programs and keynote presentations to universities, corporations and health care organizations for the past 32 years. He has worked as a senior trainer for the RWJ Barnabas Health Care System EAP for the past 15 years, providing customized stress management and professional development trainings, as well as onsite departmental consultations.
In addition to his work with the EAP, Robert was featured on a four-part, year-long Discovery Health Channel documentary, ”Class of '75” in which he mentored five highly stressed individuals, including famed golfer, Fred Funk. Other appearances have included The Today Show, NBC News, NY One News, Fox News, CNBC and numerous television appearances in Southeast Asia.
Robert has published three books and over 75 articles. He has been interviewed for articles in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Times, U.S. News and World Report and a three-page feature article in New York Newsday newspaper.
Mr. Friedman has provided his programs to such corporations as American Express, Chase Manhattan Bank, Comedy Central, HBO, Standard & Poors Global, among many others. In addition, he was awarded the Hearst Scholar Award in 2014 by the University of Northern Iowa for his innovative work in training and development.
In addition to offering programming throughout the United States, Robert has offered his programs internationally throughout Austria, Canada, England, Germany, Ireland, Malaysia, Spain, Switzerland, and Singapore. He is an active member of the National Speakers Association.
