Hannah’s Kitchen
Children’s Culinary Programming
Teaching children how to prepare their own nutritious and healthy foods gives them important tools they need to live a healthy lifestyle. In Hannah’s Kitchen, we teach children from the Greater Newark area about healthy eating through hands-on cooking lessons.
Our dietitian nutritionists show kids how to cook with nutritious ingredients, how to read a recipe, kitchen safety tips, measuring techniques, knife skills and more. And of course, they get to eat their delicious creations. Children will gain confidence and independence in the kitchen as their cooking skills and nutrition knowledge grow!
Hannah’s Kitchen welcomes all children with diverse abilities to learn in our inclusive, adaptive kitchen. Our children’s culinary programming is graciously funded by the Hannah Peretsman Breene Foundation.
