American Heart Association

Newark Beth Israel Medical Center received the Get with the Guidelines Gold Award for Resuscitation from 2017 to 2022 for implementing specific quality improvement measures outlined by the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer cardiac arrests in the hospital. Guidelines include following protocols for patient safety, medical emergency team response, effective and timely cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and post-resuscitation care.

Intersocietal Accreditation Commission

This nonprofit, nationally-recognized accrediting organization was founded by medical professionals to advance the appropriate utilization, standardization and quality of diagnostic imaging and intervention-based procedures. NBIMC has earned accreditations for:

NBIMC is on the National Cardiovascular Data Registry of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) which is the only professional medical society in the US dedicated solely to interventional cardiology.
