As New Jersey’s largest health care network, RWJBarnabas Health is committed to community wellness. Our facilities feature a variety of health screenings and education programs throughout the year to community residents and employees.
Based upon the needs of the community, we provide a variety of health seminars to educate the public community about healthy lifestyles and choices to promote wellness and prevention. These seminars are offered on various days and weekends and at various times, both morning and evening.
The LiveWell Center
Monmouth Medical Center’s new LiveWell Center at the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center, located at 200 Wyckofff Road in Eatontown, is a hub for all things health and wellness for community members of any age. We support all aspects of your health from nutrition to chronic disease management, physical movement, and mental health.
With an emphasis on education, we offer workshops on nutrition, childbirth, postpartum, prevention of chronic diseases and much more. Our state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen, managed by our registered dietitian, is uniquely equipped to assist with your healthy eating journey. The LiveWell Center is equipped to provide virtual and hybrid programs in addition to in-person events. The LiveWell Center’s education spaces offer a seating capacity of 100 for in-person program and also offers a variety of support groups and a smoking cessation program through the RWJBarnabas Health Institute for Prevention and Recovery.

Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi Nutrition Education Programs
Managed by our registered dietitian, our Demonstration Kitchen is the heart of the center. Our Dorothea and Jon Bon Jovi Nutrition Education Programs cover the lifespan, from baby-led weaning, to healthy eating for teens, to mindful snacking for adults. Our mini-series offer tailored programs for nutrition education related to chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and overweight and obesity. Join us for virtual and in-person programs, from cooking demonstrations, to cookalongs, to nutrition lectures.

The Better Health Program for Seniors
Better Health is a free membership program available to seniors who want to improve their health and well-being. If you are 55 years or older, The LiveWell Center invites you to become a member of a program that will help you maintain good health. As a member, you can take advantage of many exclusive benefits designed to help you take charge of your health and wellness. Membership provides you with access to unique social events at The LiveWell Center and in your community with an emphasis on physical activity, nutrition, health education and socialization.

SafeKids
The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center is proud to lead Safe Kids Monmouth/Ocean, which provides dedicated and caring staff, operation support and other resources to assist in achieving our common goal: keeping your kids safe. Based on the needs of the community, this coalition implements evidence-based programs such as car seat checkups, safety workshops and sports clinics that help parents and caregivers prevent childhood injuries.

Support Groups
Need a shoulder to lean on? A support group can be a key element when it comes to navigating a health concern. Groups offer a safe space to ask questions, share successes and struggles, explore coping strategies, and learn new information that can help you on your health journey. From new moms, to weight loss, to smoking cessation and cancer support, The LiveWell Center and RWJBarnabas Health offer support groups for you and your family.
