The Vascular Institute at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC) provides a wide range of therapies to treat the vast scope of vascular conditions. MMCSC’s health care professionals work collaboratively to determine individualized treatment plans for each patient.

We take a multidisciplinary approach to care, combining the best skills from many other medical and surgical specialties, streamlining the process for patients, improving efficiency, patient satisfaction and most importantly, patient care outcomes.

Vascular Conditions We Treat

MMCSC’s vascular interventionists offer expertise in the combined use of endovascular and open surgical techniques in treating patients with:

  • Abdominal/thoracic aortic aneurysms (AAA, TAA)
  • Carotid arterial disease
  • Mesenteric arterial/venous vascular disease
  • Peripheral vascular disease (PVD) or peripheral artery disease (PAD)
  • Advanced renal disease (including comprehensive hemodialysis access procedures and maintenance)
  • Venous disease/insufficiency (DVT, varicose veins)

High-Tech Tools for Diagnosing Vascular Disease

Diagnosing vascular disorders requires advanced tools. The Vascular Institute at MMCSC offers patients convenient access to a host of advanced outpatient diagnostic imaging/testing procedures, including:

  • Vascular duplex ultrasound
  • Pulse Volume Recording (PVR)
  • Tissue capillary oxygen pressure (TCPO2) measurement
