Orthopedic Rehabilitation
New Jersey Physical Therapy Services
Physical rehabilitation is an integral part of many orthopedic treatments. This is a long-term program where you work one-on-one with a certified physical medicine therapist and build a recovery plan tailored to your specific needs.
Patients are usually referred to orthopedic rehab after receiving surgery, but in some cases rehabilitation can serve as treatment by itself, preventing surgery altogether.
Our clinically proven approaches to rehabilitative care are specifically designed with careful consideration of the patient’s individual needs and goals. We work closely with patients to strategize the most effective recovery possible.
If You Can’t Come to Us, We'll Come to You
Physical rehabilitation may begin in the hospital for patients who are recovering from surgery, but we also offer outpatient and homecare programs.
Many patients who receive joint replacement surgery have a difficult time traveling during the initial stages of recovery. Through home care rehabilitation, patients can work with a knowledgeable physical therapist in the comfort of their own home.
Our orthopedic rehabilitation programs include:
- Balance training
- Fall prevention
- Aquatic therapy
- Strength and flexibility training
- Pre- and post-surgical strengthening
- Massage therapy
Your therapy regimen will vary depending on your individual needs. We believe that one-on-one attention and more personalized services help to maximize patient recovery.
