First in the Region with Noninvasive Cardiac Diagnostic Technology
MMCSC was the first hospital in the region to offer HeartFlow Fractional Flow Reserve Computed Tomography (FFR-CT), an advanced, noninvasive technology that enables physicians to determine whether a patient has heart disease using artificial intelligence. FFR-CT is very low risk and provides accurate information about conditions of the arteries. We also offer other advanced 3D modeling that helps doctors visualize the heart without invasive surgery.
Multidisciplinary Comprehensive Care
The specialists in our Vascular Institute offer expertise in the combined use of endovascular and open surgical techniques, and provide chronic non-healing wound care in collaboration with colleagues at our Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine.
On-Site Imaging
For your convenience, our on-site imaging services include a full array of vascular ultrasound tests by certified vascular sonographers. In addition to FFR-CT, we also offer magnetic resonance angiography for CoW carotid, cardiac nuclear stress testing, and more.

Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus offers a wide array of programs and specialties that include:
- Cardiac Diagnostic Testing. We pride ourselves on offering our patients the most advanced technologies and techniques to diagnose cardiovascular issues including peripheral vascular disease (PVD), peripheral artery disease (PAD), aneurisms, deep vein thrombosis and carotid artery disease. MMCSC has earned accreditation for echocardiography from theIntersocietal Accreditation Commission, demonstrating that our Echocardiography Lab provides high quality patient care in compliance with national standards.
- Cardiac Rehabilitation Program. Our acclaimed outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program offers supervised lifestyle and exercise guidance to help our patients take an active role in their ongoing heart health.
- Healthy Lives Program. We assess and refer qualifying patients to our Healthy Lives Program, located at Monmouth Medical Center. Healthy Lives brings patients and caregivers together with our multidisciplinary team of medical experts to effectively monitor patients with heart failure, acute myocardial infarction (AMI), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). By providing education and fostering outreach, this program helps to provide interventions to manage symptoms and prevent the need for emergency care or hospital readmissions.
- Heart Disease in Women. Heart disease affects women too. Our Heart Disease in Women Program focuses attention on the leading cause of death in women and brings an unparalleled level of expertise including diagnostic, treatment and support services to prevent this outcome for our female patients.
- Heart Rhythm Disorders Program. Our program provides innovative, multi-specialty care for patients with irregular heart rhythms, heart palpitations and rapid heartbeats. From evaluation to treatment, this unique program delivers the best possible outcomes for every patient with compassion and care.
- Vascular Institute. Our top-rated vascular surgeons, technologists and specialists provide true multidisciplinary comprehensive care. Using the latest high definition imaging systems, testing options and equipment, representatives from several fields collaborate to diagnose and treat diseases of the blood vessels. Treatments will often involve more than one approach, including medical management, hybrid interventional/surgical care, physical therapy and exercise.
