RWJBH Oncology Support Program
Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus
The RWJBH Oncology Support Program provides support for the physical and
emotional concerns of individuals’ affected by cancer. From diagnosis
through treatment, recovery and survivorship, we provide members with
support, education, hope and encouragement as a part of a community of
others who are facing treatment and survivorship together.
With programs running at both our Lakewood and Long Branch campuses, monthly
groups include general and diagnosis-specific support groups, educational
workshops, strength-building exercise classes, yoga, Qi-Gong, various
opportunities for socialization and special lectures emphasizing wellness
and the mind-body-spirit connection. All programs are free of charge to
our patients and anyone affected by cancer, including family members and
support people.
