Together is how we get healthy, which is why Trinitas Regional Medical Center is excited to now be part of the RWJBarnabas Health family.
As part of the state’s largest academic health system, we will bring together our similar values, missions and commitment to providing care to underserved and urban areas to advance our vision to create and sustain healthy communities. What This Means for Our Patients & Communities
Below are some details about questions you may have. The most important thing to know is that you will still be able to get the same great care from your Trinitas doctors, nurses, and care teams.
Q. What does this mean for Trinitas patients?
A. You and your family will still be able to access the same excellent health care
you have today, and over time, will see improvements to services and facilities.
As part of RWJBarnabas Health, you will also have more access to specialty
care through the system’s comprehensive network of providers.
Q. Will I still be able to see my provider?
A. Yes. You will still have access to your same doctor and care team and
receive the high-quality care you expect and trust from Trinitas.
Q. How will I schedule my appointments?
A.
You should continue to schedule appointments as you do currently. At this
point, patients can continue to use the same resources they’ve always
relied on. You can click here to visit our
Contact Us page to get in touch.
Q. Do I need to reschedule my upcoming appointment?
A. No. Nothing changes with your appointment date or time. Please plan to
continue receiving care from Trinitas as you do today.
Q. Will you still take my insurance?
A. Yes. Trinitas is now part of Horizon Omnia Tier 1. If Trinitas was considered
in-network with your insurance provider before, then joining RWJBarnabas
Health alone will not change that status.
Q. Will this integration impact Trinitas Regional Medical Center’s
Catholic identity?
A. Trinitas will continue its longstanding mission and identity as a Catholic
hospital with Catholic oversight by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth.
The hospital will continue to operate in adherence to the standards of
care stated in the
Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services. The way Trinitas has always provided care, as well as the ethical decisions
related to patient care, will not change.
