Family First Primary Physicians and Family First Urgent Care recently partnered with RWJBarnabas Health, the largest and most integrative health system in New Jersey. We are seeking full time Primary Care Physicians to join our thriving comprehensive Primary Care group. The practice has convenient locations across New Jersey in; Toms River, Brick Township, Eatontown, and Oakhurst. These locations are only a short drive from the beautiful Jersey shore, New York City, and Philadelphia and offers the perfect balance between a dynamic professional environment and convenient access to metropolitan areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and reviewing medical history.
- Provide medical examination and treatment to promote and maintain patient health.
- Administer or order diagnostic tests (e.g., x-rays, ECGs, laboratory studies) and interpret results to determine abnormal conditions.
- Instruct and counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional issues, wellness, and health maintenance.
- Document patient care services in patient and department records.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to develop goal-oriented care plans.
- Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
- Opportunity for inpatient care at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls, a local acute rehabilitation hospital.
Candidate Requirements:
- Board-certified/Board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or combined Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
- NJ licensed or eligible for licensure in NJ
- Passionate about providing comprehensive care in a primary care setting.
