The CyberKnife® Robotic Radiosurgery System is the world’s first and only robotic radiosurgery system designed to treat tumors throughout the body in one to five treatments. CyberKnife® treats tumors with laser-like precision and is unmatched by other radiation therapy and radiosurgery systems. Unlike traditional radiosurgery, CyberKnife® tracks the tumor in real time with continual image guidance, adjusting for breathing and correction for movement. As a result, the CyberKnife® precisely delivers the radiation to the tumor, sparing healthy tissue. CyberKnife® is a safe, non-surgical treatment of both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors anywhere in the body, including the prostate, lung, brain, spine, liver, pancreas and kidney.

CyberKnife® is available at the Cancer Center at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and at the J. Phillip Citta Regional Cancer Center at Community Medical Center in Toms River. Our staff will work with your insurance providers to have the treatment covered if it is determined that you are an eligible candidate for treatment.
