Ways to Give
Learn about the different ways you can impact RWJBarnabas Health Hospice.
Support a Donor Funded Program
Many of our programs are 100% donor funded like the Music & Memory Program, Paws for Patients, Bear Hugs and our entire Bereavement Department.
Matching Gifts
Many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. Often these matches are dollar for dollar, or more.
Event Sponsorships
By sponsoring an event you help defer the costs that are incurred to the organization by various expenses which helps add to the success of the fundraiser.
Host an Event
Events can be hosted to benefit RWJBarnabasBarnabas Health Hospice. Your imagination is the limit!
Gifts of Stocks & Securities
A gift of appreciated securities is a two-fold benefit to making a gift of this nature: you receive a charitable deduction for the current fair market value, and you do not pay personal capital gains taxes on the appreciation.
Annual Giving
An annual gift is just that: a sustaining gift made every year.
Donate Your Special Day
Meaningful days in your life such as a birthday, wedding, or anniversary can be made even more memorable by dedicating them to making a difference in the life of someone with a serious illness. Consider asking friends and relatives to make a donation to RWJBarnabas Health Hospice in lieu of a personal gift.
Attend a Hospice Event
Attend an event to help raise awareness and the much needed support for our programs.
Planned Giving
A popular and enduring planned gift is a simple charitable bequest, which is a gift made through your will. Bequests are popular because they give you the opportunity to leave a lasting legacy.
Volunteer Your Time
Consider volunteering your time to Hospice by visiting our patients wherever they may live, working in our office or even make phone calls to the grieving families we support after the death of their loved one. There are many ways you can help!
Memorials & Tributes
Contributions made in recognition of important life events; a gift in memory of a family member or dear friend, or in honor of a birthday, wedding, or other milestone.
