A Message from the Program Director
Thank you for your interest in Community Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency Program. Community Medical Center is excited to announce we have received ACGME approval for our Emergency Medicine Residency Program; we will be participating in NRMP for our inaugural class in July 2021. We are committed to providing the best possible clinical training, a comprehensive educational program, and excellent research opportunities.
Our program will provide an outstanding clinical experience through our talented and diverse Core Faculty and our Emergency Department Volume of approximately 75,000,high acuity patients per year. Our patients present seeking help for a large variety of disease processes and pathology. Many of our faculty are fellowship trained which will provide not only a broad spectrum of practice styles but also a network for further research and development in those fields.
Community Medical Center’s GME programs are dedicated to providing a learning environment that values diversity and inclusiveness and teaches physicians to work in inter-professional teams. We are a patient-focused program that emphasizes an empathetic, sensitive and high quality approach to patient care. Our goal is to create a program that is owned and vested in by our residents, with resident wellness being one of our top priorities.
Community Medical Center Emergency Medicine Program is a dynamic training program that will prepare you for a career in Emergency Medicine. We will strive to create an environment in which you will establish long-lasting relationships with your peers, mentors and community. Thank you for your interest and please feel to reach out to me for more information.
