Maureen Harding, MSN, BSN, RN
Maureen Harding, MSN, BSN, RN is the Senior Vice President of Patient Care Services for RWJBarnabas Health. Ms. Harding began her nursing career specializing in oncology nursing at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her leadership journey started at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (formerly known as Saint Barnabas Medical Center) where she was key in developing and expanding the Cancer Program. Ms. Harding holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Leadership in Health Care Systems.
She has held various positions as part of the system-wide nursing leadership team, including interim Chief Nursing Officer at facilities undergoing transitions. A strong advocate for collaboration and the standardization of nursing best practices -including recruitment and retention, patient experience, quality, leadership development and succession planning- she frequently unites teams to spearhead initiatives across the system. Ms. Harding has also led international recruitment efforts, onboarding and integrating experienced nurses from overseas. She is especially passionate about mentoring and developing future nurse leaders, a focus that continues to elevate patient care throughout RWJBarnabas Health.
Collaboration lies at the heart of Ms. Harding’s work. She is dedicated to partnering with leaders and championing nursing at all levels to deliver safe, compassionate and exceptional care. In addition to driving the standardization of nursing best practices, she fosters teamwork among healthcare professionals to advance mission critical initiatives.
A member of Sigma Theta Tau, Ms. Harding was recently honored with the Philippine Nurses Association of NJ Legacy award and named a Diva and Don Honoree by the New Jersey State Nurses Association.
