Nephrology Fellowship Faculty
Heather Lefkowitz, M.D.
Dr. Lefkowitz received her medical degree from Albert Einstein College
of Medicine in New York, and her internship and residency training at
the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical College. She completed her fellowship
in nephrology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and graduated summa
cum laude with a biology degree from Yeshiva University. Dr. Lefkowitz
is a member of the AOA Honors Society and has also co-authored several
articles in the field of Nephrology. She is on the Medical Board of the
Renal Network that oversees New Jersey dialysis units.

Neil Lyman, M.D.
Dr. Lyman graduated from Case Western Reserve University and Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Alpha Omega Alpha). He was an intern, resident, and chief medical resident at Mount Sinai Medical Center and nephrology fellow at Boston University School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Lyman is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and is the author of several medical publications. He was the recipient of the Outstanding Subspecialist of the Year Award in 1991-1992 and the Golden Apple Award in 1995-1996. |
Robert Zenenberg, D.O.
Dr. Zenenberg, who is board certified in both internal Medicine and nephrology, completed a fellowship from New York University. He completed a residency in internal medicine from the University of Connecticut Health System, Farmington/Hartford, CT, and an internship in osteopathic medicine at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and an undergraduate degree in molecular/cellular biology from the University of Connecticut. His published research includes, "Hyponatremia: Evaluation and Management," Hospital Practice, Feb. 2010. He was listed as a "Top Doctor for 2011" in New Jersey Monthly. |
