APP Fellowship Admissions
Applications for the 2024-2025 fellowship cohort will be accepted between January 1, 2025 - March 31, 2025.
Eligibility
To apply for the RWJBH APP Fellowship, you must have or be in the process of completing the following requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Master’s degree program in Nursing, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) specialty
- Be eligible for or have a National Board Certification from a national certifying organization such as ANCC or AACN in Acute Care by the start of the program
- Graduation from an accredited Master’s degree program for physician assistants
- Possess a National Certification Commission for Physician Assistant certification
- Be eligible for or have a current license and certificate to practice as an ACNP or PA in the State of New Jersey by the start of the program
- Flexibility to work various shifts (i.e., nights, weekends, and 40-60 hours work week), ability to attend lectures and clinical rotations
- Be eligible for or have an active DEA certificate and CDS license in the State of New Jersey

- Copies of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
We currently are not accepting international candidates.
Stipend
- $85,000 stipend for the 12-month program
- Work weeks span from 40-60 hours a week
- All APP Fellows are eligible to receive full employee benefits options, including four weeks paid vacation
- Tuition assistance for conferences
- On-site continuing education credits
