Application Process
Medical Laboratory Science Program
Application period runs from Sept. 1 through January 31; late applications are accepted until program capacity is reached. You are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
Application Instructions:
- Mail complete application and statement/letter of interest to MMC Program Director. (Address payment to Monmouth Medical Center)
- Request official college transcripts emailed directly from institution to Diane.Cianciminio-Bordelon@rwjbh.org.
- Three letters of recommendation (preferably a science professor/instructor/advisor, manager) are required. Follow instructions on the Letter of Recommendation form (located in the application packet).
Each application is reviewed by the Program Director and Applicant Review Committee. Individuals* who submit all requested documentation and fulfill admission and performance requirements will be invited to an interview. Those candidates selected to proceed will be invited for an on-site tour of Monmouth Medical Center Clinical Laboratories.

Preference is given to students from affiliate universities and colleges:
- Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania
- East Stroudsburg University
- Fairleigh Dickinson University
- Georgian Court University
- Kean University
- Monmouth University
- SUNY Fredonia
- SUNY Plattsburgh
- St. Joseph’s University (formerly University of the Sciences)
