How to Apply to the CBMC/Rutgers-NJMS OBGYN Residency Program

The Residency Program matches ten (10) applicants per year. Applications will be accepted only through ResidencyCAS. Applications should be submitted to the Rutgers Health/Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center Program. ACGME program number: 2203312163. A completed application includes: an official copy of USMLE or COMLEX scores, an official medical school transcript, an MSPE letter, and 3 letters of recommendation from faculty members familiar with the applicant’s performance, one of which must be a standardized letter of evaluation. Additionally, foreign graduates must submit a valid ECFMG certificate. Formal interviews are held from November through January. All interviews will be virtual.

The Department of Graduate Medical Education is responsible for setting policy relevant to application for residency training positions. Programs must not discriminate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability or veteran status.
