It’s time for tots! This monthly series occurs twice a month, on the first and third Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m. This program is open to caretakers of little ones aged 1 to 3 and aims to address the various topics related to developmental milestones, nutrition and allergies, behavior management, and more to help answer any burning questions new parents may have. Caretakers are encouraged to bring along their toddler to each session. Please email livewellcenter@rwjbh.org if you wish to attend virtually.
On 4/16: Toddler Tantrums - This session, join Ioanna Pagkrati, Pediatric Medical Resident, as she explores why toddlers have tantrums and how to respond to and manage these meltdowns.
On 5/7: Mental Health for Mamas - This session, join Lisa Tremayne, RN, PMH-C, CBC, Program Coordinator of the Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders Center with the RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group, as she talks about PMADs, how to identify one in yourself or a loved one, and support available. We will also discuss the comprehensive integrated care (individual therapy, medication, peer group support, and more) available to new and expectant parents right here at the Anne Vogel Family Care & Wellness Center!
On 5/21: Sleep and Naps for Littles - This session, join Marisol Perez, Pediatric Medical Resident, as she explores one of the hottest topics for growing toddlers -- sleep and naps for little ones. We will discuss sleep needs by age, importance of sleep and naps for growth, development, mood, and learning, and tips for successful rest for your child.
