Management of Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy - RWJUH Somerset
Peripheral Neuropathy is a type of damage to the nervous system that may impact the nerves in the extremities such as the fingers, hands, arms, feet and legs, often creating asensation of “Pins and Needles” in these areas. Certain chemotherapy drugs are more likely to cause this type of side effect.
In this program, Kerstin Scheper, DNP, MSN, RN-BC, OCN, CHPN, will review risk factors, symptoms, diagnoses, and novel approaches to the prevention and management of Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy.
Lunch will be provided to in-person attendees. Registration is required.
